The Calvary Church Indoor playground provides an indoor playground for pre-kindergarten children, from infants to 11 years old, under the supervision of adults. Our playground enables children to play in a large, open space and to have contact with children of all ages.
The success of our Indoor Playground depends on your participation and cooperation. Church membership is not a requirement. We hope you will come and invite your friends to join us! The reservation request form must be filled out completely and submitted before approval for your party can be confirmed.
Hours of Operation
All birthday or celebration parties must be reserved through the Calendar Coordinator at Calvary Church. Parties are booked based on playground availability. Our winter bookings are on Friday evenings after 4:00 pm, or Saturdays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. During the summer, the booking days are a little more flexible. The playground is not available for Sunday parties. It is also not open during weddings or when special events are booked. Since the wedding chapel is located adjacent to the playground, it is possible that a birthday party will have to cancel in the event a wedding is scheduled. In most cases, if a wedding has not been scheduled and approved six (6) weeks prior to your party, your party will not be bumped. The playground is unavailable on major holidays.
Cost
The fee for using the playground is $15/hour (for both members and non-members of Calvary). This includes use of the playground for one hour and also the atrium for serving food. There is also a one-time atrium useage fee of $25 for cleaning. Your playground reservation is not completed until payment in full has been made at the Church Office (see Sindy Minor).
A 2-week advance registration is required.
How to Use The Playground
Register to use the playground by completing the registration form below. All sections must be completed and signed before we can process your registration. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is responsible for the activities of the child. Indoor Playground Rules:
- The Indoor Playground is supervised during HIGH VOLUME CALVARY CHILDREN'S MINISTRY USE ONLY. All other children must be supervised by an adult.
- Cash and checks are accepted. If paying by check, please make checks payble to: Calvary Church
- No food or beverages are allowed in the playground. Food & beverages are allowed in the Atrium.
- No balloons allowed in the playground. Balloons are allowed in the Atrium.
- No party/gift opening or cake/cupcakes allowed in the Lobby or playground.
- Decorating on tables only is allowed in the Atrium. No taping to Atrium or playground walls is allowed.
- All tables must be wiped off and area cleaned as you found it before you arrived.
- No red-colored beverages (kool-ade, fruit-punch, etc.) are allowed in the Atrium or playground. Pink lemonade is allowed.
- There is a freezer available for ice cream and ice machine for drinks, accessible in the kitchen. Calvary is not responsible for food left in the kitchen after your party.
- Party members must stay in the designated areas. Please do not allow children to roam or run throughout the building.
- Socks must be worn while on the large playset.
- Follow all posted rules and no rough play.
- The smaller playset is restricted to children ages 2-5 years.
- No more than 25 children should be using the playground at one time.
Illnesses
Please do not attend the Indoor Playground if you or your child are not feeling well. Please contact us immediately if you or your child contracted a communicable disease and may possibly have exposed others at the playground.
