Unto Us

For unto us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
  And he will be called
  Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
  Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Pirates of the

I Don't Care-ibbean

When Andie gets hit on the head in a baseball game, she goes off to a dream world with pirates and buried treasure (OK, maybe it's not buried).  What follows is a great lesson about what 'treasure' really means.   Because YOU are God's treasure on earth, incomprehensible worth, more precious than silver or gold.

Children's Musical

Worship Productions Celebration Event

This was our first Worship Productions Celebration Event.  The goal was to celebrate everything that God had done through Worship Productions in 2007.  Darleta decorated the gym and rolled out the red carpet.  Some attendees were even spotted in formal evening ware.  After a wonderful meal Debbie presented the first annual WooPee awards, and Dave Milliken gave us an inspirational talk about the worshipping God through the arts.

Dessert Theatre

This zany comedy finds our main character moving to a small town for some peace and quiet, but the local folks are anything but! Throw in a crazy (literally) sister, bloody scissors, a whole lot of confusion, a dash of misunderstanding, some fabulous desserts, and you’ve got the recipe for a super fun Dessert Theatre!

But wait!! Here’s the best part!
Dessert Theatre gives you a chance to invite people who don’t normally go to church to attend a fun, non-threatening, secular play and eat some spectacular dessert.

Performances: West Campus: July 28th, Mid Rivers Campus: July 29th

American Ideal

Lights! Camera! Ego!  Well, that is, when the spotlight shines on one of the four contestants competing to be the next "American Ideal".  The theme is Gospel Music Night, and you'll enjoy great music and crazy TV show antics during this humorous, tongue-in-cheek parody of one of the biggest hits in TV history. In the end, however, the spotlight shines on God's truth about humility and idolatry!
